Participant Responsibilities

For Safety Seminar (face to face meeting, hosted at hotel)

• Bring laptop or tablet, so can view e-book files (we'll have ample mains power receptacles)

• For working through work group exercises, your copy of Ed 3.1 version of safety standard for hands-on reference (hard copy or e-copy).  Recommended is either 

  • AAMI ES 60601-1:2005(R)2012 + A2:2020, or 

  • EN 60601-1:2006 + A1:2013 + A2:2021.

• Preliminaries

  • Course registration including prepayment (see Training registration page)

  • Any hotel, and travel arrangements (see Training registration page)

For EMC Seminar (face to face meeting, hosted at hotel)

• Bring laptop or tablet, so can view e-book files (we'll have ample mains power receptacles)

• For working through work group exercises, your copy of Ed 4.0 version of safety standard for hands-on reference (hardcopy or e-copy).  Recommended is either 

  • IEC 60601-1-2:2014 + A1:2020, or 

  • EN 60601-1-2:2015 + A1:2021.

• Preliminaries

  • Any hotel, and travel arrangements (see Training registration page)

For Safety Webinars (internet video meeting)

• We use Google Meet. You'll need a desktop/laptop or phone with camera and microphone, 5+ Mbps internet speed, and a browser compatible with Google Meet (e.g. Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari), permitted to use camera and microphone.

  • Alternatively, the webinar link includes many country specific phone numbers. Slides are provided before the webinar. Participants can participate by phone, with slides viewed on desktop/laptop or phone. 

• Pre-register, with applicable registration page.

• NOT needed

  • Standards; when referencing the standards, slides contain text from standards. 

  • A Google Account; you'll have a meeting link, and the instructor will let you in.

Seminar event details

• Location and Date: Course location and dates given on Training registration page.

• Food & Beverages: For each full training day there will be a continental breakfast, snack, lunch, and another snack.
